Dec 10, 2025

police station dress code being reviewed

The Health Ministry says such kits have yet to get official approval from the relevant authorities due to concerns over their accuracy.

It's because such kits mainly use saliva to test for the presence of the influenza virus.

KKM pointed out that the best results are obtained from nasal swabs and blood tests under the supervision of trained medical personnel.
