Dec 15, 2025

deadly shooting on bondi beach

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has conveyed the government’s condolences over the deadly shooting incident in Australia’s Bondi Beach…saying there’s no justification for any violence on the basis of race or religion.

At least 15 people – including children – were killed in the attack, which targeted a Hannukah event on Bondi.

One of the two gunmen was killed at the scene, while the other was critically injured.

Local reports say the shooters were father and son.

This is the deadliest shooting in Australia since the 1996 Port Arthur attack, which claimed 35 lives.
