Kelantan Told To Brace For Flooding

Folks in Kelantan have been told to brace for more flooding.

The Drainage and Irrigation Department has issued warning for Gua Musang, Jeli, Kuala Krai, Tanah Merah and Pasir Mas…amid forecasts of continuous heavy rain and river levels that are expected to breach the danger mark.

The DID says the flooding is expected to occur between today and Friday.

This, amid the Met Department’s warning for severe continuous rain and thunderstorms in parts of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Perak, Sarawak and Sabah until Thursday.

The Malaysian Medical Association says we need stronger lifestyle-based mental health strategies amid rising cases of depression and workplace stress.

It says this should cover things like an improved diet, better physical activity, and burnout prevention measures.

This, amid figures showing that one in three Malaysians has experienced mental health issues, costing more than 14 billion ringgit in lost productivity.
