MEF backs government's recent decision.

Feb 04, 2017

The Malaysian Employers Federation is supportive of the govt's decision to employ about 300 ethnic Rohingyas holding the UNHCR cards.

MEF says the move will fulfill the needs of the labour, agriculture and farming sectors which are not popular among locals here.

The DPM had earlier announced a govt pioneer project to enable Rohingya refugees holding the UNHCR cards to be legally employed begining next month.
