Heavy rain to hit several Sarawak areas

Heavy rain is expected to hit several areas in Sarawak from today till Wednesday.

A yellow-level weather warning has been issued and the high-risk areas for floods include Kuching, Samarahan, Serian, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.

As of noon today, more than 2,600 people were forced to evacuate due to the floods in the state, while a primary school in Miri was forced to close temporarily.
