Police probe for negligence after rape suspect escapes custody

Police are investigating whether negligence led to the escape of a rape suspect from police custody in Beluran, Sabah.
The state Police Commissioner says its too early to determine what led to the incident, but adds that stern action will be taken against the personnel involved, if negligence was a factor.
This, as the manhunt continues for the suspect, who's accused of raping a 17-year-old girl.
