Teen driver in fatal Penang accident claims trial

The teenager who caused a fatal accident in Penang by driving against the flow of traffic, has claimed trial to driving under the influence of drugs and causing death and injury.
The offence carries a maximum 10 year jail term and a 20 thousand ringgit fine upon conviction.
The magistrate granted the accused 7 thousand ringgit bail, and set May 12th for next mention of the case.
