Teen MPV driver released on police bail

Kedah police say the teenager who drove an MPV and rammed into two men recently, drove the vehicle without the knowledge of his father.
According to initial investigations, the teen’s father was not at home during the incident.
One of the victims was killed in the accident, while the other suffered serious injuries.
Cops add that the 16-year-old boy has been released on police bail after his statement was recorded.
Stern action to be taken against anyone who allows kids to drive
Stern action will be taken against anyone who allows children or underaged teens to get behind the wheel.
The Transport Ministry says not only will action be taken against the driver, but the vehicle owner will also face the full brunt of the law.
It was commenting on a recent accident in Kedah, where a man was killed while another was injured after being rammed into by an MPV driven by a 16-year-old boy.
Women urged to report sexual harassment incidents immediately
Women have been urged to immediately report incidents of sexual harassment, especially when using public transport.
Melaka state authorities say they take the issue seriously, stressing that women should not remain silent over the matter.
This comes after a passenger was allegedly molested while sleeping in an express bus travelling from Kelantan to Melaka.
Police have since arrested the bus driver.
