The Prime Minister has not ruled out the possibility of increasing the cash aid given out under the Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia initiative, IF the rising prices of goods continues.

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the payment would benefit those in the B40 group, who continue to be affected by the rising cost of living.

The PM also assured that the government will look into ways to address the rising prices of goods, adding that it will not let the people be burdened with the increase in prices.

He adds that the government provides subsidies of over RM77 billion, namely for chicken, eggs, cooking oil, and fuel, among others.
