Cycling activities are allowed on public roads.

The Malaysian National Cycling Federation says the only exception would be where it's explicitly prohibited to cycle, such as certain highways.

It also reminded cyclists to ride carefully and be considerate towards other road users.

This, following a recent viral incident where a group of cyclists were accused of blocking a bus lane.

The government has assured that top judicial appointments will follow the Federal Constitution.

The de-facto Law Minister says they're aware of the public's concerns surrounding the issue, following the decision not to extend the tenures of the former Chief Justice and

Court of Appeal president, both of whom retired earlier this month upon reaching their mandatory retirement age.

Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said adds that the appointments will be made by the Yang DiPertuan Agong on the advice of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister says Bank Negara’s decision to lower the interest rate was a prudent and proactive measure, especially amid global economic uncertainties.

This, after the central bank lowered the Overnight Policy Rate by 25 basis points to 2.75% - which is its first rate cut in five years.

The European court of human rights has ruled that Russia is responsible for the downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 back in 2014.

The judges also found that Moscow's refusal to acknowledge its involvement in the incident, had violated international law.
