Police Helicopter Crashes In Johor

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of today's police helicopter crash in Johor.  

The IGP says it authorities face several challenges to retrieve the wreckage of the chopper, which went down into a river in Gelang Patah.  

He also urged people not to speculate on the crash or share videos of the incident.  

It reportedly happened as the helicopter was involved in a joint exercise with maritime authorities from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.  

5 people who were on board the chopper were rescued – with two of them in critical condition while the other three are stable.

The number of road accidents fell to around 1,800 yesterday, a 30% decline compared to Monday.    

11 people were killed in accidents, down from 16 the previous day.

A man and a woman have been charged in court over the death of a uni student, whose body was found in a condominium unit in Cyberjaya last month.  

The 19-year-old man was charged with one count of murder, while the woman, his girlfriend, is facing charges of abetting.
