Rakan KKM Won't Burden Healthcare Workers

The Health Minister has once again reiterated that the new Rakan KKM initiative is 100% voluntary for medical personnel.
As such, healthcare workers who are deemed too busy will not be included.
This way, medical officers, specialists, or nurses will not be further burdened with additional tasks.
The minister also urged the public to refrain from speculating about the program's operational details, adding that a briefing on the matter will be held soon.

Separately, the ministry and the Johor government have reached a consensus on addressing healthcare issues in the state.
It says the action plan will mainly focus on staffing and facility issues, as well as enhancing capacity mid a shortage of manpower at Johor’s main public hospitals.
