Cheaper Petrol By End-Sept

We are just weeks away from enjoying cheaper RON95 petrol!
PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim gave his assurance that it will be implemented before the end of the month.
He reiterated that the price for Malaysians will be RM1.99 per litre.
Meanwhile, foreigners will pay the unsubsidised market price of between RM2.50 to RM2.60.

Zara Qairina's family has called for people to stop conducting solidarity rallies until after the inquest into the 13-year-old's death.
The family's lawyers say while they are grateful for such support, they're worried that such gatherings could disrupt court proceedings.

Subang Jaya police have confirmed they are investigating an attempt to blackmail a member of parliament.
The MP claimed that he recently received an email from an unknown individual, threatening to release an AI-generated explicit video of the politician if he fails to pay hundreds of thousands of ringgit.
Two other MP's have also revealed that they received similar threats.

Border authorities have urged Malaysian travellers to plan accordingly, if they want to travel to Thailand for the long Malaysia Day and school holiday weekend.
The Border Control and Protection Agency says it's because of extremly high traffic volume at the Bukit Kayu Hitam customs complex, which is expected to continue until Sept 21st.
