Police Station Dress Code Being Reviewed

The chief secretary to the govt has been told to review the dress code for people visiting police stations and other frontline govt offices.
The PM gave the order, because he feels that people should not be denied important govt services simply because of what they're wearing.
This, following public backlash after a woman in a short skirt was barred from lodging an accident report at the Jasin police HQ recently.

Don't blindly trust the results of influenza self-test kits.
The Health Ministry says such kits have yet to get official approval from the relevant authorities due to concerns over their accuracy.
It's because such kits mainly use saliva to test for the presence of the influenza virus.
KKM pointed out that the best results are obtained from nasal swabs and blood tests under the supervision of trained medical personnel.

One person has died and another seriously injured, after a gunman reportedly opened fire on their car in Seremban this morning.
Negeri Sembilan police say they believe the incident may have been gang-related, and investigations are ongoing.

A foreign security guard has been slapped with a RM40,000 fine for a charge of animal cruelty, after he pleaded guilty to abusing a cat in Kota Kemuning, Selangor last month.
He is already serving a 4-month jail term for entering the country without valid documents, and for being partially unclothed in public.
