Tommy Thomas had NO hand in it !
Attorney General Tommy Thomas had NO hand in the prosecution's decision to withdraw corruption charges against the Finance Minister, as he had recused himself from the case.

Instead the decision was made by the AGC’s appellate and trial division head Datuk Hanafiah Zakaria, who replaced Thomas as the lead prosecutor.
In a statement, Hanifah said he made the decision, after new evidence arose during the cross-examination of prosecution witnesses.
He also felt that the prosecution would NOT win the case.
