Liverpool Adds To City's Misery

Liverpool have claimed their 11th Premier League win in 13 games, after beating Man City 2-0 at home.
Cody Gakpo and Mo Salah scored in either half, to put Liverpool 9 points clear of 2nd-place Arsenal.
Meanwhile, City are in 5th place in the standings, after suffering their 6th defeat in 7 games.
City boss Pep Guardiola insists there is still a lot to play for, despite their current poor form.
Guardiola says it's still early in the season, and there is a lot of time for them to bounce back.
Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Arne Slot warned his players not to lose focus, as their rivals can still catch up.
He says the likes of City, Arsenal and Chelsea still pose a major challenge to their title ambitions.
Liverpool will now travel to Newcastle in mid-week, while City are at home to Nottingham Forest.

Also, Manchester United posted a 4-0 victory over Everton at Old Trafford, to give boss Ruben Amorim his first EPL win.
The result moved United to 9th in the table
Elsewhere, Chelsea had a 3-0 win over Aston Villa and Tottenham drew 1-1 with Fulham.

KL City have reached the Piala Malaysia quarterfinals, after beating Kedah 4-1 last night to claim a 6-4 aggregate victory.
They will face JDT in the last-eight.
In another match, Sri Pahang also advanced after beating Selangor 2-1 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate.
