Goh Jin Wei has moved up 13 spots to 55th in the latest Badminton World Rankings.  

This follows her strong run in last week's Thailand Masters, in which she was forced to retire in the final for medical reasons.  

Elsewhere in the rankings, Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik are ranked second in the men's doubles, while Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah are still the 2nd-ranked women's doubles pair, while mixed doubles world champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei held on to 4th place.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reminded his players to avoid complacency when they host Chelsea in the second leg of the EFL Cup semifinals tomorrow morning.  

The Gunners have a 3-2 lead on aggregate, but Arteta warned that they are facing a strong Chelsea side who have won six out of seven games under new boss Liam Rosenior.   

Arsenal will have to make do without Mikel Merino, who could miss the rest of the season with a foot injury, while Bukayo Saka is doubtful.

Reports say Marcus Rashford has no plans to return to Man United at the end of his current loan spell at Barcelona 

This, despite interm boss Michael Carrick saying he wants the attacker back at Old Trafford.

Former Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso is reportedly one of the candidates to take charge at Man City IF Pep Guardiola decides to leave.  

Two other people are also on the shortlist, namely ex-Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca and Como head coach Cesc Fabregas.

Liverpool have confirmed a deal for Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet, who will complete his move to Anfield in the summer.

Other reports claim that Man United made a last-minute bid to sign Jacquet, before the defender agreed a deal with Liverpool.

Manchester United's Tyrel Malacia is reportedly fuming after the club blocked his loan move to Besiktas on transfer deadline day... just as he was about to board a plane to Turkey.

And Selangor FC have condemned the behaviour of some of their fans who were arrested for public order offences during a match in Kuala Terengganu at the weekend.
