Man City came back from a goal down to defeat derby rivals Man United 3-1 in last night’s Premier League action.

Phil Foden was the hero for the Citizens, netting two of their goals in the second half.

The result leaves them one point adrift of leaders Liverpool, while United have now lost 11 league games this season.

In La Liga action...

Mallorca beat Girona 1-0.

While Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao played out a goalless draw.

Speaking of Barcelona, they may need to forget about their plans to hire Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi as their new boss next season.

According to a report, De Zerbi is interested, but the Catalan giants are not able to afford his 15 million euros buyout clause.

Lionel Messi has scored his 500th career league goal... after netting a brace in Inter Miami’s 5-0 thrashing of Orlando City in the MLS!

Elsewhere, LeBron James has become the first NBA player to reach 40 thousand career regular season points.

---

And Mercedes’ F1 team boss Toto Wolff is reportedly not ruling out a 2025 seat for Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz.
