Wky Did Saka Miss Arsenal v Luton?

Apr 04, 2024

wky did saka miss arsenal v luton?

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta expects Bukayo Saya to return to fitness in time for their EPL match against Brighton this weekend.

This is after the player was surprisingly left out of this morning's 2-0 victory over Luton.

He was initially expected to feature in this morning's game after an injury issue, but Arteta felt he needed more time to recover.

--

Meanwhile, the win over Luton gave Arsenal a 1-point lead ahead of 2nd placed Liverpool, who will take on Sheffield United tomorrow morning.

Manchester City remain in 3rd place despite thrashing Aston Villa 4-1.

--

Man United boss Erik ten Hag has dismissed claims that the injury crisis in his squad is due to his harsh training methods.

He says instead, the injuries are due to fatigue because there are way too many matches.

--

Organisers of this weekend's Japanese Formula 1 GP hope that its new place on the calendar will help bring more foreign spectators.

It's because the new date coincides with its peak tourist season.

--

And according to Channel NewsAsia, Singapore has turned down an offer to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Malaysia had also turned down the invite.
