Nov 04, 2025
FIFA has rejected the FAM's appeal against sanctions imposed on the national football body and several players.
The association now has 10 days to request a motivated decision and 21 days following this notification to appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
In September, the FAM and seven heritage players were penalized for allegedly submitting falsified documents.
This, as was part of efforts to confirm the players' eligibility ahead of an Asian Cup qualifier back in June.
However, the association later explained that a technical error in the submission process by an administrative staff member caused the issue.
