Kane on the double as Spurs thump Palace

Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min both broke Premier League records in their 4-0 EPL win over Crystal Palace this morning.

Kane’s brace increased his EPL tally to 198 goals from 300 appearances, passing Alan Shearer’s record of 196.

Mw, Son’s goal means the South Korean has now scored alongside Kane in 34 EPL fixtures - a competition record.

Other EPL results saw West Ham held 2-2 by Leeds,

Southampton were beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest,

While Aston Villa drew 1-1 with Wolves

In selected Serie A results, Juventus edged Cremonese 1-0, Inter Milan beat Napoli also by a goal to nil...while AC Milan edged Salernitana 2-1.

In Spain…Barcelona progressed to the last 16 of the Copa Del Ray, edging third tier side Intercity 4-3 after extra time this morning.

And, Man United goalkeeper David de Gea has made it public that he intends to retire at Old Trafford.

The 31-year-old Spaniard, who is entering the final six months of his contract, has the option to depart on a free transfer, but has made it clear that he wants to stay.
