Man City Cruise Into EFL Cup Final

Man City have knocked Newcastle out of the EFL Cup, beating the holders 3-1 in the second-leg of their semifinal this morning to complete a 5-1 victory on aggregate.

This sets up a mouth-watering final against Arsenal, who overcame Chelsea in the other semifinal.

City last won the EFL Cup in 2021, while the Gunners have not lifted the trophy in 33 years.

Selangor have made the semifinals of the ASEAN Club Championship, after yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Thailand’s BG Pathum United ensured the Red Giants finish second in their group.
