Liverpool suffer historic defeat to Chelsea

Chelsea have continued their impressive form under Thomas Tuchel with a 1-0 EPL win over Liverpool at Anfield this morning.

Mason Mount scored the decider just before the break.

The Blues have now gone 10 games unbeaten since their new manager took charge.

As for Liverpool, this is the first time in their history they’ve lost five successive league matches at home.

In other EPL results…Tottenham won back-to-back matches for the first time since November, as they edged Fulham 1-0.

Spurs are now in eighth place, but just four points off the top four.

While Richarlison netted the only goal of the game as Everton defeated West Brom 1-0.

Bruno Fernandes is reportedly set to be given a new contract at Man United, that doubles his current salary to 200 thousand pounds per week.

The Portuguese international has been in excellent form for the Red Devils this season, scoring 22 goals and registering 13 assists in all competitions.

A total of nine Malaysian reps are through to the quarterfinals of the Swiss Badminton Open.

They include favourites Lee Zii Jia, Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying, Chow Mei Kuan-Lee Meng Yean and the young pairing of Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah.

Men’s doubles pair Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong, however failed to defeat their German opponents.
