City dominate United in the Manchester derby

Man City have won the Manchester derby, with a dominant 4-1 win at the Etihad.

Kevin DeBruyne and Riyad Mahrez netted two goals apiece...against a Man United side that was without Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane due to injury and illness.

The win leaves City six points clear of Liverpool at the top of the EPL standings although the Reds have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Arsenal moved into the top four after a 3-2 win over Watford.

The Gunners are now one point ahead of Man United, but have three games in hand.

AC Milan recorded a 1-0 win over fellow Serie A title challengers Napoli.

It leaves Milan two points clear of second-placed Inter in the standings, with Napoli a further point adrift.

Elsewhere, third-placed Barcelona defeated Elche 2-1 in La Liga.

While reigning champions Atletico Madrid moved up to fourth…after their 3-1 victory over Real Betis.

Ukrainian player Dayana Yastremska has been praised by tennis fans online for her emotional run to the final of the Lyon Open.

She lost to China’s Zhang Shuai in the title decider, just a week after being forced to flee her home in Ukraine because of Russian bombing.

Yastremska also won the hearts of netizens by pledging her 14 thousand euros prize money to help those affected by the war in her homeland.
