Haaland Reachers Champions League Milestone

Mar 07, 2024

haaland reachers champions league milestone

Erling Haaland has reached a new milestone after he helped Man City beat Copenhagen 3-1 in their last-16 second-leg tie this morning.

Haaland scored once in the match to take his total number of goals in the competition to 41.

This matches the tally of club legend Sergio Aguero, and he did it in 42 fewer games!

Meanwhile the result pushed City into the Champions League quarterfinals, with a 6-2 aggregate win.

--

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp assures he will not take any unnecessary risks with Mo Salah, as he continues his recovery from injury.

This is after Salah returned to training and was included in the match-day squad for their Europa League 1st leg clash at Sparta Prague.

Several other injured stars were passed fit, namely Darwin Nunez, Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Andy Robertson.

--

Chelsea attacker Raheem Sterling will reportedly ignore offers to move to Saudi Arabia, to spend at least one more season at Stamford Bridge.

--

And Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi insists he has no plans to leave the club, after being linked with a number of outfits in the EPL and Italy.
