Chelsea have opened their Champions League campaign with a shock 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.

The Croatian side took the lead in the 13th minute, and survived a late onslaught by the Blues to hold on for a famous victory.

In other selected results, Man City’s in-form striker Erling Haaland scored twice, as the English side thrashed Sevilla 4-0.

It takes the Norwegian striker’s tally to 12 goals in seven games across all competitions.

Kylian Mbappe also netted twice, in PSG’s opening 2-1 win over Juventus.

RB Salzburg held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw.

While Real Madrid comfortably defeated Celtic 3-0.

Thiago Alcantara has returned to training for Liverpool, ahead of their Champions League opener against Napoli tomorrow.

The midfielder has not played since picking up a thigh injury on the opening weekend of the EPL season.

Sri Lanka narrowly defeated Malaysia, in their opening game of the second round at the Asian Netball Championships.

It was the Malaysians first defeat in this year’s tournament.
