Aaron/Wooi Yik To Split For SEA Games?

Nov 07, 2025

aaron/wooi yik to split for sea games? National shuttlers Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik might not be paired up for the upcoming SEA Games.

Aaron Chia says he’s open to partnering with any player at the competition in Thailand next month.

It’s because he believes that fielding scratch players could be the realistic key to victory.

He adds that the strategy of using scratch pairs could surprise opponents and also serve as preparation for next year’s Thomas Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo has offered an explanation for why he didn’t attend the late Diogo Jota’s funeral.

He says he understands the popularity he holds and didn’t want to draw attention to himself instead of Jota during his international teammate’s funeral.

The Liverpool forward and his brother Andre Silva tragically died in a car accident back in July.

Speaking of Ronaldo, Man United boss Ruben Amorim has urged his team not to dwell on the Portugal international’s harsh criticism regarding the team.

Earlier, the former Red Devils player insisted that Amorim shouldn’t be expected to work miracles, adding that the club’s problem lies with more than just the coach and players.

This, as United are looking to rebuild following a woeful 2024/25 season, which saw them finish a lowly 15th in the Premier League and lose in the Europa League final to Tottenham.
