The Badminton Association of Malaysia has confirmed that the Malaysian Open will be postponed amid a rise in Covid-19 cases.

The tournament, scheduled for May 25 to May 30, is one of the final two Olympic qualifiers.

The new dates for the event would be decided in the future.
