We will have one rep in action in the finals of the Indonesian badminton Open!  

Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun reached the finale of the men’s doubles after beating local favourites Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Reza Pahlevi Isfahani in straight sets. 

They will now face the world number 2 pair from China, Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang. 

Meanwhile, Tan Kian Meng/Lai Pei Jing were beaten in the mixed doubles semis.

The Bukit Jalil stadium’s pitch will be in excellent condition for Harimau Malaya’s World Cup qualifier against Chinese Taipei on Tuesday. 

FAM says recent maintenance work means that the stadium can host both teams' training sessions and the match itself

This, following criticism of the pitch’s condition for the national team’s home match against Oman back in March.  

Sub-par conditions forced Malaysia and Oman to cancel their official training sessions there.
