However, he believes his players will relish postponing Man City’s title confirmation.

City would have been confirmed as Premier League champions if United had lost to Aston Villa this morning, but the Red Devils ended up winning 3-1.

United currently sit second on the EPL table, 10 points behind leaders Man City.
