Coco Gauff Wins The US Open

Coco Gauff has won the US tennis Open with a three sets victory over Aryna Sabalenka in this morning’s final.

This is her first ever Grand Slam title, and at 19 is the first American teenager to win the tournament since Serena Williams back in 1999.

Gauff’s win will also lift her up to a career-high third spot in the women’s world rankings.

In selected Euro 2024 qualifiers…England were held to a 1-1 draw by Ukraine.

It also ended 1-1 between Italy and North Macedonia.

While Belgium overcame Azerbaijan 1-0.

The Malaysian football team have played out an impressive 1-1 draw with China in an international friendly in Chengdu.

This is Harimau Malaya’s second draw against a team in the top 100 of the world rankings…having earlier played out a 2-2 draw with Syria.

Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik are through to the men’s doubles final at the China Badminton Open, after a straight sets win over their Korean opponents.

They will next take on the third-ranked pair from China for the title later today.
