Liverpool have ended their two-match winless run across all competitions after a snatching a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League this morning.

Dominik Szoboszlai secured the victory by converting a late penalty.

In other selected results…

Atalanta edged past Chelsea 2-1.

Tottenham enjoyed a 3-0 win over Slavia Prague.

Atletico Madrid overcame PSV Eindhoven 3-2.

Barcelona beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1.

While Bayern Munich overcame Sporting Lisbon 3-1.

Closer to home…JDT and China’s Shanghai Port played out a goalless draw in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Our shuttlers will be looking to end Malaysia’s two decade-long wait for a SEA Games gold medal in the men’s badminton team event…when they take on Indonesia in the final today.

Among the other Malaysians competing today …our men’s and women’s five-a-side hockey teams will be playing in the semifinals…while our Karate and Pétanque athletes will also be in action.
