Rashford fires Man United into EFL Cup semis

Man United are through the semis of the EFL Cup...after beating Charlton Athletic 3-0 this morning.

Antony opened the scoring, before Marcus Rashford came off the bench to net a brace in the final minutes.

Rashford has now bagged seven goals in his last six games and has 15 in all competitions this season.

The Red Devils have also now won eight successive games in all competitions...for the first time since the middle of the 2018-2019 season.

Malaysia’s head coach has apologised for failing to lead the national team to the AFF Cup final.

Kim Pan Gon says he takes full responsibility… after their 3-0 defeat to Thailand in the semifinal second leg last night, saw them exit the tournament 3-1 on aggregate.

Despite the defeat, he says he has no complaints about the effort and work-rate of his players.

Elsewhere, Inter Milan advanced to the quarterfinals of the Copa Italia after a slim 2-1 win over Parma in extra-time.
