Liverpool kept up the pace with the EPL leaders, after a 2-0 win over Leicester City this morning. 

Diogo Jota netted both goals for the Reds at Anfield.

The win moves Liverpool nine points behind table-toppers Man City…although Jurgen Klopp’s side have a game in hand.

Elsewhere, Arsenal moved up to fifth in the standings, after their 1-0 win over Wolves. 

This was also the Gunners first victory of 2022.

Neymar has returned to full training with PSG after recovering from the ankle injury he picked up in November. 

There’s now a chance he could make the bench, for next week’s huge Champions League last-16 clash against Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to hold talks with his agent next month, to discuss a possible Man United exit.

The 37-year-old, who is on his second spell with the Red Devils, will reportedly leave if the club fails to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Ronaldo is also said to have no interest in staying, if interim boss Ralf Rangnick is given the job permanently at the end of the season.

Welson Sim has decided to quit the national swimming team, and will train on his own.
