Liverpool Make It Six Straight UCL Wins

Liverpool have made it six wins from six games in the Champions League…after a 1-0 victory over Girona this morning, courtesy of a second-half penalty from Mo Salah.

The result means the Reds are on the verge of securing a place in the last-16…with two matches to spare.

In other selected Champions League results this morning…Aston Villa snatched a 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig.

Real Madrid defeated Atalanta, also 3-2

Bayer Leverkusen netted a late winner to beat Inter Milan 1-0

While Bayern Munich thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1.

FIFA is set to officially confirm the hosts for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups later today.

With no other competing nations…the 2030 tournament should be awarded to a six-nation bid led by Morocco, Spain and Portugal…while Saudi Arabia should host the 2034 edition.

Pep Guardiola has hinted that Man City will be the last club side he manages.
