Man City are fighting for their Champions League survival after losing 3-2 to Real Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 playoff at the Etihad this morning.

The Citizens twice took the lead but allowed their opponents to equalize before Jude Bellingham netted the winner for the Spanish side with the last kick of the game.

Nottingham Forest were made to work hard to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The Premier League high-flyers needed penalties to defeat third-tier side Exeter City after the match finished 2-2 at the end of extra-time.

Closer to home, JDT recorded a 2-1 win over Australia’s Central Coast Mariners in their penultimate group game at the Asian Champions League Elite.
