Zii Jia's Rushed His Comeback

Lee Zii Jia will assess his fitness and decide on continue competing at next week's Swiss Open.  

This, after his first-round exit at the All-England Championships.  

The Malaysian shuttler admits he may have rushed his return from a 3-month injury layoff.  

He says he was only playing at 50% capacity in his opening round match against Hong Kong's Angus Ng.

Liverpool are sweating on Trent Alexander-Arnold's fitness ahead of this weekend's EFL Cup final against Newcastle.  

This is after boss Arne Slot confirmed that the right-back suffered an injury in this morning's Champions League defeat to PSG.  

Alexander-Arnold was taken off mid-way through the second half with a suspected ankle problem and was replaced by Jarell Quansah.

Meanwhile Slot says this morning's game was the best football match he has ever been involved in.  

He also praised his team's fighting spirit, after losing 4-1 on penalties.
