Man City enjoyed a 3-0 win over Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarterfinal first leg tie at the Etihad this morning.

Rodri opened the scoring, before Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland strengthened City’s advantage later in the second half.

Haaland has now scored 45 goals so far this season, which is a single-season record for a Premier League player.

In another quarter final first leg result, Romelu Lukaku was on the scoresheet with a late penalty, as Inter Milan cruised to a 2-0 win away to Benfica.

UK reports claim that Liverpool have dropped out of the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s in-demand midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The German club is understood to want more than 130 million pounds, which the Reds consider too expensive.
