Pearly, Thinaah Reach Hong Kong Semis

Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah are one step closer to retaining their Hong Kong Open title. 

The Malaysian women's doubles stars reached the semifinals, after beating compatriots Go Pei Kee-Teo Mei Xing earlier today.  

They'll take on the 3rd seeds from China tomorrow.  

Meanwhile, Ariff Junaidi and Yap Roy King's campaign has ended after they crashed out in the men's doubles quarterfinals

Former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglu insists he has nothing to prove, as he returns to management with his new club Nottingham Forest.  

Spurs sacked the Australian at the end of last season after they finished 17th in the EPL standings, but he also helped them win the Europa League – their first trophy nearly 2 decades.

FIFA has approved former Man City player Aymeric Laporte's move from al-Nassr to Athletic Bilbao. 

The Spanish defender was supposed to join Bilbao on transfer deadline day, but the deal fell through due to some paperwork issues by al-Nassr.
