Dec 12, 2025

danish iftikhar claims 100m bronze

Malaysia’s Danish Iftikhar Muhammad Roslee has taken the bronze medal in the 100m’s sprint final at the SEA Games.

The gold went to Thai teenager Puripol Boonson…whose time of 9.94 seconds in the heats also makes him the first-ever South East Asian runner to break the 10-second barrier.

The Malaysian contingent also picked up another gold medal through Rachel Yeoh in gymnastics…as well as a further 10 silver and 12 bronze medals.

It leaves us sixth in the overall standings, with a total of three gold, 12 silver and 21 bronze.

Meanwhile, Malaysia’s Harimau Muda squad fell to a 2-0 defeat to Vietnam in the SEA Games football competition.

It leaves us second in Group B…meaning we’ll have to wait for the result of tonight’s Indonesia-Myanmar game to see if we qualify for the semifinals as the best runner-up.

LIVE coverage of the SEA Games begins at 10am today on Astro channel 801 and on SOOKA.

Aston Villa overcame Basel also by two goals to one

Porto beat Malmo 2-1

While Roma trounced Celtic 3-0.

And a European supporters group is calling on FIFA to immediately review the ticket prices for next year’s World Cup.

This, after it emerged that the cheapest ticket for the final would cost more than four thousand dollars…which is about seven times more expensive than the last tournament in Qatar.
