Barcelona have overtaken Real Madrid as the world’s most valuable football club.

According to Forbes latest ranking, the Catalan club’s valuation of 4.76 billion dollars, was just marginally higher than their bitter La Liga rivals.

Meanwhile, Man United were knocked out of the top three…with Bayern Munich moving above the Red Devils into third place.

This, as Liverpool moved up in to fifth on the Forbes list…above Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG and Tottenham.

Everton’s hopes of a top four EPL finish suffered a further blow, after they were held to a goalless draw by Brighton this morning.

The Toffees are now seven points adrift of the top four, although they do have a game in hand.

For Brighton, meanwhile, this morning’s point helped them edge closer to Premiership survival, with the Seagulls currently seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, West Brom recorded back-to-back Premiership wins for the first time this season, after beating Southampton 3-0.

Juventus have reportedly identified Zinedine Zidane as their top target to replace current manager Andrea Pirlo.

Pirlo has struggled in his first managerial position, with Juve slipping out of the Serie A title race to lie 12 points behind leaders Inter Milan.

Zidane, meanwhile, has won almost every trophy on offer with Real Madrid…but is said to be unhappy with the lack of support from the board of directors.
