Several Malaysian reps have advanced into the quarterfinals of the Japan badminton Masters! 

Our men’s doubles reps dominated the courts, with duos Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzudin - Yap Roy King/Arif Junaidi – and Choong Hon Jian/Haikal Nazri all winning their respective matches.  

Meanwhile, women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan/M Thinaah also defeated their opponents to land a spot in the quarters.

Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo says he’s actually hoping Ireland fans boo him in tomorrow morning’s World Cup qualifier in Dublin.  

He explained that he’s used to such fan behavior and that if the crowd focuses on him, it could take pressure off his teammates.

Cardiff will host the opening game of Euro 2028, with the semi-finals and final scheduled to take place at London's Wembley Stadium. 

This, as nine venues across four host nations - England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland - will stage the 24-team tournament.
