Mar 14, 2025

Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah have missed out on making history at the All England badminton Championship.
This is after they were beaten in straight sets by their Japanese opponents in the quarterfinals.
A win would have made them the first Malaysian women’s doubles pair in two decades to reach the tournament’s semifinals, after Chin Ee Hui – Wong Pei Tty.
Mixed doubles top seeds Goh Soon Huat – Shevon Lai also crashed out, meaning there are no Malaysians left in the competition.

United went on to win the match 4-1, to claim a 5-2 aggregate victory.
