Farah Ain, Bonnie Win Big At Sportswriters Associating Awards

Malaysian lawn bowler Farah Ain Abdullah has been crowned Athlete of the Year at the 2024 Sportswriters Association of Malaysia awards.
It's in recognition of her gold medal at the World Indoor Bowls Championships, and victory at the Pattaya Asian Championships.
Farah edged out several other nominees including badminton aces Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, tower runner Soh Wai Ching, tenpin bowler Sin Li Jane and wushu's Tan Cheong Min.
Meanwhile, Bonnie Bunyau Gustin was named the Best Para Athlete.

PSG boss Luis Enrique is at a loss to explain their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final.
The Champions League winners were in fine form throughout the competition, and demolished Real Madrid 4-0 in the semis.
However, they were outclassed by the Blues in the finale, with Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro scoring Chelsea goals.

Meanwhile, reports say FIFA could hand a lengthy ban to Enrique for his part in a mass brawl that erupted between PSG and Chelsea players after the final.
He's accused of pushing Chelsea's Joao Pedro during the altercation.

Elsewhere, Man United may have to give up hopes of finding a permanent buyer for Marcus Rashford this summer due to his high wage demands.
Reports say United are ready to accept another loan move for the attacker, following his temporary stint at Aston Villa in the second half of last season.
