Oct 14, 2024

pearly: let's keep the momentum

Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah are looking at the positives, following their runners-up finish at the Arctic badminton Open in Finland.

Pearly says they had a good run, and hope to build on this momentum at this week's Denmark Open..

The women’s doubles duo were beaten by the top seeds from China in yesterday’s final.

Meanwhile Arctic Open men's doubles champions Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin may be included in the Road to Gold programme for the Los Angeles Olympics.

The Youth and Sports Ministry said this following the duo's recent results, including their victory in Finland.

According to reports, the English FA has yet to interview any prospective candidates to become the next permanent England manager.

So far, several big names have been linked with the job, including former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

Meanwhile Pep Guardiola says he cannot rule out taking the job, if he decides to leave Man City at the end of the season.

--

And Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman has urged his team to step up and fill the void left by Virgil van Dijk for tomorrow morning’s Nations League match against Germany.

The defender is suspended after being red-carded in their previous game and has since returned to his club Liverpool.
