Jun Hao Shines Again In Japan

Nov 14, 2024

jun hao shines again in japan

Leong Jun Hao has continued his fine run at this week's Japan badminton Masters.

This is after the Men's Singles player stunned Japan's Koki Watanabe in three sets in the second round.

It comes a day after he ousted India's Lakshya Sen.

Lee Zii Jia will join Jun Hao in the men's singles quarterfinals after beating his opponent.

Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai reached the mixed doubles quarterfinals, but Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik crashed out in the men's doubles.

--

Man United are reportedly worried that they could lose Lisandro Martinez for an extended period, due to a hip injury that he picked up in their recent win over Leicester.

United already have to make do without fellow defender Harry Maguire, who will be sidelined until next month.

--

The English football referees body says it is aware of new allegations surrounding controversial ref David Coote, amid claims that he was seen snorting a white powder while on duty during Euro 2024.

Coote has already been suspended, over his past offensive comments about ex-Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

--

Barcelona have confirmed that Ansu Fati will be out of action for a month due to a hamstring injury.

The youngster will join Lamine Yamal on the sidelines, but Robert Lewandowski could return to action after the current international break.
