(Ten Hag has one thing in common with Malaysians: hardly any money to buy essentials)

Man United's early exit from the Champions League has left a big dent in their January transfer budget.

According to UK media, United were targeting to reach the quarter-finals this season, which would have seen them earning an extra 30 million pounds in prize money, gate receipts and TV revenue.

It’s believed that this cash would have been set aside for new signings.

Because of this shortfall, it's believed that United are now more willing to offload players including Rafael Varane and Anthony Martial.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says for now, there is no timeframe for Alexis Mac Allister's return from a knee injury that he picked up last week.

He is definitely out for tomorrow morning's Europa League group match against Union Saint Gilloise

And Malaysian men's doubles duo Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik have suffered their second straight defeat in the group stage of the BWF World Tour Finals in China

This means that the duo have missed out on a place in the semifinals.
