Pearly-Thinah Book Thai Open Quarterfinal Slot

Pearly Tan – M. Thinaah have reached the quarterfinals of the Thai badminton Open.  

The Malaysian women's doubles pair booked their spot after beating their 2nd round opponents in three sets.  

Several other reps are in action today, including newly crowned National Sportsmen of the Year Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik.

Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski is back from a hamstring injury and is expected to feature in tomorrow morning's La Liga match at Espanyol.  

Victory for Barca will see them clinching the La Liga title and complete the domestic double having earlier won the Copa del Rey.  

A win for Barca will put them 7 points clear of second-placed Real Madrid with just 6 points left to play for.

Kylian Mbappe smashed a 71-year-old club record, as he scored in Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Mallorca this morning.  

He has now scored 28 La Liga goals in his first season at Real, beating the record set by the legendary Alfredo di Stefano in the 1953–54 campaign. 

Meanwhile, Real Madrid recorded 39 shots against Mallorca last night, for their highest tally in a LaLiga home game in 21 years.
