Costa Rica complete the lineup for the 2022 World Cup

Costa Rica are the 32nd and final team to qualify for the Qatar World Cup.

This, after they defeated New Zealand 1-0 in their inter-continental playoff this morning.

They will enter Group E, which includes Spain, Germany and Japan.

England have suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Hungary in their Nations League tie this morning.

This is the Three Lions worst defeat on home soil since 1928…and leaves them bottom of their group without a win in the competition.

In other selected Nations League results…Germany thrashed Italy 5-2

While The Netherlands edged past Wales 3-2.

Malaysia has qualified for the 2023 Asian Cup.

Our national team booked their place after beating Bangladesh 4-1 in their final qualifying group match last night.

It ensured that we secure our place in next year’s tournament as one of the best five runners-up.

The last time Harimau Malaya qualified for the Asian Cup on merit, was back in 1980.

Liverpool have completed the signing of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

He joins on a six-year deal worth an initial 64 million pounds.

The fee could rise to 80-plus million after add-ons…which would make Nunez Liverpool’s most expensive signing.

He scored 34 times in 41 appearances for Benfica last season.
