Cole Palmer scored four goals as Chelsea thumped Everton 6-0 in their EPL clash at Stamford Bridge this morning.

It stretches The Blues unbeaten league run to eight matches.

Palmer’s goals also take his tally for the season to 20, bringing him level with Erling Haaland at the top of the top-scorers’ list.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side remain ninth in the standings…and are just three points off seventh-placed Man United with a game in hand.

National diver Wendy Ng has announced her retirement from the sport at the age of 30.

She posted her retirement announcement on social media…where she also hinted at a possible switch to coaching.

Wendy is a multiple-time SEA Games gold medalist…and has also won a silver in every edition of the Asian Games since her debut in 2010.

The French government says the Paris Olympics opening ceremony could be moved, if the security risk is too high.

This, in the wake of several terror threats against major sporting events in Europe.

The original plan is for the opening ceremony to be held along the stretch of the River Seine in Paris – the first time ever the ceremony will be staged outside a stadium.

Rafa Nadal is putting no pressure on himself, saying he just wants to enjoy his first appearance on the ATP Tour since January, at this week’s Barcelona tennis Open.

The Spaniard’s struggles with injury have led to suggestion that this could be his last year on the Tour.
